My message: Wow. This article about Kwanzaa is pretty good. I gaurantee you that this is exactly how Paul would have felt about the idiotic/pagan beginnigs of christmas. Take a long deep hard look at christmas. God never changes. He told us in the beginning how and when he wanted us to gather in His name. Those would be the feast days that so many dispensationalist liars have tried to push to the side and create manmade worship/honoring days, such as Christmas and Easter. There is no truth in Christmas or Kwanzaa. They were both forced on groups of people even though the mass knew better but for the sake of not looking normal and going witht the flow they gave in to man. As for me and my house, we will follow the Lord. Not man. Please repent/teshuva from this lie we have inherited from our ancestors and be apart of the Kingdom of God.

My message: A caller to a local radio station said she hosted a Kenyan exchange student for the holidays. Since she wouldn't be home for the holidays, the white family brought home all the accouterments for a Kwanzaa observance from a variety of stores at the local suburban mall. When the student came home, she burst into laughter at the sight and explained that back home, folks mock the entire concept as a silly American practice by people who know little or nothing about African culture and history.

The perplexed caller asked the student what would make her feel at home. Her reply:

"A Christmas tree."

My message: Chris, I almost deleted your entry, but I thought it better to just respond publicly to what you wrote.

I'm taking your comment to mean that because you feel we are not respected by Whites, then we must go to war? I think that is quite a radical way of trying to earn respect.

The fact that we have a black president means that some level of respect must have been given for a black man and his wife to be made President and First Lady of our country, don't you think? Racism is not eradicated by the nomination of a black president, but it certainly suggests we have come a long way!

There's never been a need for a set of black principles such as the Nguzo Saba. If directions for life is what we're looking for, that can be found in God's written word to us, the Bible.

My message: I do concur with some of the principles and ideologies presented in the NGUZO SABA! I believe we must do for one another. It doesn't seem to matter what we do we are always looked upon negatively by (WHITES). I believe we need to get ready for war!
On every level They (WHITES) will not respect anything LESS!

My message: Thanks for that wonderful information. I've never celebrated Kwanzaa, but the topic was brought up at the Birthday celebration of a friend. I was drawn in by the discussion and thought about incorporating it as a part of my family tradition, but I did not know a lot about it. I am so glad that God led me to this article! Thank you again for putting this information out on the net so that people like me can find it. God Bless You!

My message: I feel so informed after reading your article. I am a born again believer. This "holiday" distresses me because it is one more blatant attempt by the enemy of our souls to make us self-focused. Not only that but, self-glorifying, self-worshiping, and racially divisive. Of course we must acknowledge the way people are using their ancestors as mediators to the "Creator". I am always amazed by how far man tries to run from God and yet ends up creating substitutes for him. Injecting the same Christ-like qualities into a "non-religion". I guess we can sum it up by saying, the devil does not have any new tricks!

My message: There is a process going on that has been inspired by Almighty God, to redirect the Original Man and Woman to return to their original selves. Each of us has a destiny to return to that from which we came, God. (known by many names) All shall be judged not by another mans profession of faith, but by our own. Who are YOU? Are YOU what YOU say YOU are? Are YOU all that YOU can be? Because ALL knowldge comes from the Creator, no matter what we learn, it is by divine will. It is what we do with that knowledge that will determine our consequences. The impact of Kwanzaa on those persons that have been painfully turned away from so called "organized religion", may eventually assist in bringing in the kingdom. Stop judging others and work on self. I DO! Kwanzaa is not a lie, it is one of the keys to destroying Satan's World! God is the baby we all love. We just show it differently!
