My message:	Dear Chad Vest Family: I am Joy Tanner's mom. Linda McKinney gave me the blogspot for Lisa and told me to "travel" with it to see all of your families. What a pleasant surprise to see all of you online! You have a BEAUTIFUL family! I appreciated reading all your comments on being a wife and motherhood! I could have written the same things when I was raising our children. These are wonderful years, and they go by too quickly!!!! What a small world it is! We found out some time ago that Chad's secretary is Carrie Henschen. Carrie's sister, Cathy, was a roommate of our daughter when she attended Crown College in Knoxville, TN. Cathy and our daughter, Jo Hanna, are not related, but "share" the same 3 cousins. Their cousins mother is sister to Carrie's mom. Their cousins' father is brother to Jo's dad, my husband. Small world! You have a beautiful family! It is a blessing to see you raising your children for the Lord! It's a hard task these days! Keep up the good fig...

My message:	Hi Amanda, I came across your blog while at another blog...just wanted to say hi! I cannot believe you have 7 children already! I think when we were in Gaylord just 2 or 3 years ago...you may have been pregnant with your fifth? We now have 5...and our last one was a little girl, so precious!! We're in Kingston for just a couple of more weeks, then we plan on leaving for the Azores in May. We've been filling in for the Kimmels for 4 months while they were in the states. It sure is good to serve the Lord!!

My message:	Your word for the year "patience" inspired me to think of my own word. Since I turn 50 this year, I thought of all the things I should celebrate this year: being able to turn 50, being married, having children, having grandchildren and even a son-in-law :), not teaching this year, owning a business, having this house, being a Sunday school teacher and being a part of all our other ministries, etc. This morning I was frustrated getting the girls off to school, and I thought I'm not celebrating the opportunity to train their character.
