 Selected Bible Verse
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12

My message: I and my 2 younger brothers are Hemocgromatosis patients. Our father had Thalassemia Minor and died from Leukemia a few years ago. My brothers have low Ferririn levels due to therapeutic phlebotomies on a regular schedule. My first Ferritin level was 6000. It is now 95. I am too anemic to continue on with more phlebotomies.Do you have any suggestions to boost my HCT? I take 4mg of Folic acid dailey.

My message: I am 28 y.o. and I was diagnosed with HH 2 years ago. I have an identical twin sister who is only a carrier! So far, I am the only one in my family that has HH. Currently I only have to have phlebotomies done every 3-6 months.

My message: I am a male RN, of Irish nationality and was diagnosed as having HH about 2 years ago. In the 2 years I have done the weekly and every other week phlebotomies and brought my ferritin level from 1500 down to 42. Its very difficult explaining to a physician the aches and pains that i believe are related to my condition.
I now take every opportunity to educate others about this very common and potentially deadly disease.

My message: Thank you so much for doing this!!! Even my hematologist said this was "rare" and we would just "keep a watch". Thank God my neurologist knew better. Keep up the good work!

My message: I've been searching for many years for an answer to health problems in my family. Not having a medical background, having family members who refuse to see doctors and the few times doctors were consulted, being screened by them in the "usual way", have left me without answers. I believe HH is what I've been searching for. Next step - testing. I'll let you know what happens.
