Q. What is a guestbook?
A. A guestbook is a page where visitors to your website can leave comments, feedback and other
messages for you and other visitors to read.
Q. Why is it free?
A. There will be an ad banner at the top of your guestbook pages, as well as a link to invite visitors to get their own guestbook.
Other than that - the page is all yours!
Q. How long will it take for my account to be activated?
A. Please allow up to 24 hours, although generally it will be much less. We must visit your site and make sure it complies
with our statement of beliefs before your site can be authorized to use the ChristiansUnite.com Guestbooks.
Q. Exactly what will my guestbook look like?
A. I have set up a sample guestbook with dummy entries. You can't add to it or change it. It is just a sample. Click Here
Q. How many total guestbook entries can I have?
A. You can have up to a maximum of 500 entries in your guestbook. Once that number is reached, as new entries
are added, the oldest ones will be dropped off the end.
Q. I have added the code you emailed me to my page, but it doesn't work. Can you help?
A. The most likely problem is that you have inadvertantly put spaces or non-alphanumeric characters in the code. The best solution
is to get your code again from the members' area. Then you just cut and paste.
Q. It still doesn't work!
A. A lot of page generators have a problem with pasted in code, and will change your carefully pasted code. I have set up a page for The
Gospel Banner Exchange to address this problem. The concept is the same for the guestbooks.
Q. I accidently confirmed a guestbook entry that I wanted to delete. How can I get rid of it?
A. You can logon here with your username and password, then select the button
that says 'Guestbook Entries'. From there you can delete any unwanted entries.
Q. I want to use my own images for sign and view guestbook. Is that ok?
A. Certainly it's ok. It's probably best to logon with your usename and password, then select the button to the right that
says 'Get Your Code'. There are further instructions there as to how to use your own image(s).
